Our Team
Amy Rafter
Amy is our Co-Founder, Director and Behaviour Support Practitioner. She has expertise in trauma, out-of-home care, teenagers, and children with ASD and ADHD. Amy has also completed training in pathological demand avoidance (PDA) frameworks, anxiety management, supporting infants and toddlers, and child mental health. She is passionate about helping others and supporting individuals and families to achieve positive outcomes.
Ellie Dart
Ellie is our Co-Founder, Director, and Behaviour Support Practitioner. She has training in nonverbal communication, transition to SIL, restrictive practices, family dynamics, and school-to-day program transition. She has extensive experience supporting participants with aggressive behaviours and reducing harm to others. Ellie is passionate about supervising other behaviour support practitioners in the industry and working with complex family situations with her Master’s in Family Studies.
Jayla Stewart
Jayla is a Behaviour Support Practitioner working with our primary and high school-aged clients. Jayla is passionate about working with complex families and has experience with trauma-informed care.
Elise Mitchell
Elise is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with a wide variety of experience supporting clients with Global Development Delay, ASD level 3, Expressive and Receptive Language Disorder, PTSD and a range of other diagnoses.
Ava Manning
Ava is a Behaviour Support Practitioner. She has a background in childcare. Ava has completed a B. Psychological Science and is currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Play and Art Therapy. She is passionate about supporting young children experiencing social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. Ava uses play and art therapy practices to offer a child-centred approach to help children express themselves.
Jess Hjort
Jess is a Behaviour Support Practitioner who is passionate about supporting people in a way that feels practical, joyful, and empowering. She has experience across a range of wellbeing roles working with people with ADHD and ASD. Jess is committed to continually learning and developing her abilities to provide thoughtful, effective behaviour support.
Paige Robertson
Paige is our Compliance & Marketing Officer. She joins us from a background in the community services sector, including Childcare, Support Workers, SIL Team Leaders, and support Coordinators. Paige has extensive knowledge of the NDIS space. She is passionate about holistically supporting children, young adults, and their support networks so that they can navigate their plans and access the support they require.
Harrison Welsh
Harrison is our Administration Officer. Harrison works alongside our team to assist with all behind-the-scenes and administrative tasks. Harrison comes from an education background, having taught across early childhood, primary, and secondary school in both the mainstream and special education settings. Harrison is passionate about inclusion and is excited to support participants and their families beyond the school environment.
